Description
Nano-CaptureLigands™ for the site-directed and gentle immobilization of antibodies in biosensor and ELISA assays. Nano-CaptureLigands specifically capture non-biotinylated immunoglobulins to streptavidin/avidin. Nano-CaptureLigands are biotinylated VHHs/ Nanobodies.

ChromoTek’s Nano-CaptureLigands immobilize non-biotinylated antibodies to streptavidin/avidin coated biosensors used in surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and bio-layer interferometry (BLI) assays like the FortéBio Octet® systems.
This immobilization is very strong because of the high affinity of the Nano-CaptureLigands. As a result, there is a stable baseline without significant dissociation of captured antibodies.
Nano-CaptureLigands enable the advanced characterization of antibodies and antibody fragments including detection and quantitation plus binding kinetics and affinity.
Nano-CaptureLigands can be regenerated >10 times for multiple reuse.
Their high specificity enables antibody discovery and screening in crude liquids like hybridoma supernatant, serum, and plasma samples.

ChromoTek’s Nano-CaptureLigands enable the site-directed immobilization of capture antibodies for sandwich ELISAs. They combine the site-specificity of protein A, G, and L with the stability of the biotin/streptavidin interaction. Because of the Nano-CaptureLigands’ subclass specificity, a broader range of capture and detection antibody pairs can be used in ELISA.
The Nano-CaptureLigands’ high affinity results in a strong immobilization of antibodies even at low antibody concentrations.
