Binding controls
When you do your pulldown with our Nano-Traps (GFP-Trap®/ RFP-Trap®), some proteins probably bind unspecifically to the agarose beads or the magnetic particles. Therefore we provide identically treated beads/ particles without coupled Nano-Traps as control for unspecifically bound proteins.
You can use these Blocked agarose beads and Blocked magnetic particles also for a pre-clearing step to deplete unspecifically binding proteins prior to the pulldown.
